Falkner Winery in Temecula Valley Wine Country is giving its restaurant a refresh, including its menu.
The Pinnacle Restaurant is perched on a hilltop above the vineyards on the 23-acre property. Its west-facing dining room has been painted and its woodwork stained to give the space a warmer, brighter feel, according to manager Jhonnatan Morales. Its walls are decorated with paintings selected by owner Ray Falkner.
The exterior of the pie-shaped building will also get a refresh, Morales said in an email.
Executive chef Ever Fuentes has added several seasonal items to the menu, prepared with local produce and house-made sauces.
Small plates include Burrata Caprese with heirloom tomatoes, $20; Steak Flatbread with carmelized onions and gorganzola sauce, $17; and Garlic Shrimp with a grilled French baguette, $19
Meals include a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, $26; Shrimp Linguine in Vodka Sauce, $28; and Eggplant Parmesan, $23.
Desserts include Grand Marnier Crème Brûlée, $14.
The winery is at 40620 Calle Contento, Temecula. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
