That information sparked its partnership with businesses and others to help support the Junior League of Riverside’s diaper bank program, a news release states.

The leadership class brainstormed fundraising ideas to raise donations toward buying a van to support the Junior League’s Diaper Bank of the Inland Empire.

The class worked with American Medical Response Riverside County Regional Director Jeremey Shumaker, a class member. He offered to donate an ambulance.

Then, Bossi Vans Sprinter Conversions, of Riverside, volunteered to wrap the truck, at cost. And California Baptist University contributed $10,000 to customize the vehicle, according to the release.

The truck now has custom cabinetry that fits the diapers distributed through the program. Also, the sirens still work and the lights were switched to yellow, the release states.
