Rök House closes

Rök House Brewing Company in Upland has closed, but its owners promise the brewery will return.

In an Instagram post, the owners explained that the decade-old brewery had outgrown its current space and that it would close while they searched for a new location.

Hopefully it won’t take Lars and crew too long to find a new home.

Stay tuned to the brewery’s social media channels for updates.

R.I.P., Allan Borgen

We were shocked to hear of the tragic death of Allan Borgen and his partner, Isabelle Busse.

The pair had planned to host a dinner at Rui’s Shanghai Bistro in Redlands later this month, mentioned in this column last week.

We had planned to attend.

Our condolences to their loved ones
