Photographer Thomas Kelsey will offer a “mini-imagery tour” of the Eastern Sierra Nevada in a presentation for the Friends of the Murrieta Library 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Murrieta Public Library.
Kelsey, a former staff photographer with The Press-Enterprise and the Los Angeles Times, has led tours tours on the life of photographer Ansel Adams as part of the Lone Pine Film Festival, according to a news release.
His first book, “The Spirit of the West,” focuses on landscape and wildlife photography in the western United States. His most recent publication is “75 Years Later — Warbirds, Airman and Veterans of World War II.”
In his presentation for the Friends of the Murrieta Library, he will show some of his award-winning photographs and share his expertise on Ansel Adams.
The program will be in the Community Room of the library, 8 Town Square, and refreshments will be provided.
