Miguel’s Jr. has added three bowls to its menu, joining a lineup of burritos, tacos and Mexican food plates for a limited time.
Choices include a Guac Burrito Bowl, $8.49, made with choice of chicken or beef, chunky guacamole, rice, pinto beans, jack cheese and pico de gallo.
The Enchilada Bowl is made with chicken or beef, enchilada sauce, Spanish rice, pinto beans, cheddar cheese and toppings such as diced tomatoes, onions and cilantro. It sells for $7.99.
The Potato Bowl includes carne asada, chucks of potato, jack and cheddar cheese and sour cream for $11.99.
The chain is also getting a jump on autumn with its Pumpkin Pie Horchata. It continues to serve Strawberry Lemonade, Mango Lemonade and Mango Iced Tea.
Miguel’s Jr. is based in Corona and has restaurants in Riverside, San Bernardino and Orange counties.
