Dine 909: Dutch Bros opens first San Bernardino location

Dutch Bros Coffee continues its expansion across the Inland Empire with the opening of a new San Bernardino location.

The drive-thru coffee spot can be found at 4236 N. Varsity Ave., just off the 215 Freeway at University Parkway.

Hours are 5 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

It’s the first eatery to open at the University Crossings project, which also includes Chick-fil-A and Panera Bread.

Another Dutch Bros location is under construction across town at 877 E. Hospitality Lane.

New in Redlands

A new restaurant in Redlands aims to offer the best of both worlds.

Cedar Agave, 14 E. State St., is the first restaurant I’ve seen that offers a Lebanese-Mexican food mix.

Think Mexican Fattoush or Hummus con Chorizo, both of which are on the eatery’s menu.

The restaurant opens at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Open in Corona

A new Mediterranean restaurant has opened in Corona.

Levanty: Tales of Taste specializes in shawarma and falafel in wraps, combo plates and bowls.

There’s also a salad option, topped with chicken shawarma.

Levanty is at 115 N. McKinley St., Suite 107.

Hours are 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday.

Now in Colton

I recently noticed that Odalberto’s Mexican Food had expanded to Colton.

The restaurant, 1497 N. Mount Vernon Ave., opened in May.

The drive-thru location joins others in Grand Terrace, Moreno Valley and Murrieta.

Hours are 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Drive-thru pizzeria?

We can cross another one off the list.

Piara Pizza has finally opened at 22000 Barton Road, Suite A, Grand Terrace.

The location is part of a newer building that also includes a Wingstop, and eventually, Rapha Tea and Baskin Robbins.

Interestingly, the location includes a drive-thru.

Hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
