Chipotle Mexican Grill will open a new restaurant in Corona on Thursday, Dec. 19, according to a news release from the Newport Beach chain.
It will be in Corona Hills Plaza off of the 91 Freeway at the McKinley Street offramp.
It replaces Pieology Pizzeria near a FedEx Office on the east side of the sprawling shopping center.
The address is 300 N. McKinley St., Suite 101.
Hours will be 10:45 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. The restaurant will create about 30 jobs, the news release said.
Chipotle specializes in made-to-order burritos, tacos and bowls. Quesadillas can be ordered digitally. The chain continues to serve smoked brisket, which it added to its menu for a limited time in September.
