Val Verde schools celebrate Halloween with free event in Perris

Pumpkin Fest returns to Cal Poly Pomona for 31st year of activities
Hosted at the Val Verde Unified School District’s Val Verde High School — located on Morgan Street in Perris — the evening event invited students and families from across the school district for a safe session of trick-or-treating. The district’s police department, which organized Nightmare, tossed in music, games and free food served up by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, too.
Val Verde has about 20,000 students in the Perris, Moreno Valley and Mead Valley areas.
