Brush fire breaks out in Good Hope area, west of Perris

A wildfire broke out and had burned 15 acres Wednesday afternoon in the Good Hope area between Perris and Lake Elsinore.

Crews responded to the Post fire around 3:52 p.m., according to Tawny Castro, a spokesperson for the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

As of about 4:45 p.m., there were no injuries reported.

The fire was reported in the 20800 Block of Gardenias Street, north of Highway 74. That highway links Lake Elsinore and Perris.
