The Moreno Valley Master Chorale, directed by Viorel Gheorghe, invites singers interested in joining the group to an open rehearsal 7-9 p.m. Sept. 9.
The rehearsal will be at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 11650 Perris Blvd., Moreno Valley, and the chorale will continue to hold open rehearsals every Monday in September.
The Moreno Valley Master Chorale, founded in 1986, is the official choral ambassador for the city of Moreno Valley and participates in many city-sponsored events in addition to presenting three major concerts every year, according to the chorale’s website.
This December the chorale will perform Handel’s “Messiah” with an orchestra in Palm Springs and a Christmas classics concert in Moreno Valley.
