San Bernardino man killed, another injured after stabbing outside Bloomington market

Two San Bernardino men were stabbed, one fatally, outside a Bloomington seafood market on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The stabbing occurred around 5 p.m. outside of Los Coras Seafood Market, 18717 6th Street, where 43-year-old Octavio Tarin was found suffering from at least two stab wounds and pronounced dead by medical personnel. Deputies located the second victim, a 45-year-old man, who was being treated for stab wounds at a hospital, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said in a Monday statement.

Investigators later identified 43-year-old Jesus Ramirez from Riverside as the suspect and arrested him at his home on suspicion of murder, officials said.

Details on the motive and circumstances leading up to the stabbing were not released.
